And while we wish every job could be a complete redesign and install of a waterfront estate on Palm Beach Island, we’ve freshened up plenty of modest home properties for resale, added lighting to existing designs, installed street trees to bring residential landscapes up to code, and lots more. “We do a lot of work with HOAs,” Jim Downing of Tropical Touch Landscapes says. “Whether working directly for the HOA itself or for the homeowners who belong to the association, we’re well versed in document submissions, the approval process and consultation.”
Design
No matter the size of the project, all jobs begin with a professionally designed plan depicting plants, pathways and lighting. For DIYers, this plan can be purchased alone. Design services are free, however, for clients who contract with us to implement the design and install their landscaping.
Installation
At Tropical Touch Landscapes, we offer full-service installation of trees, foliage, ground cover, cypress mulch, lighting, ornamental elements, stone paths, walkways and more. If you purchase your materials through Tropical Touch, you can save substantially on the typical retail prices that you’d have to pay on your own.
Lighting
No landscape is truly complete without the elegant backdrop of professionally installed landscape lighting. Lighting makes more of your property enjoyable and brings the indoors out after dark. It highlights particular elements of your landscape while neighboring landscapes disappear into the night.
Trees & Privacy Hedges
Trees and hedges are main focal points of any design and often add functional elements to your property. We’ll care for your trees and hedges, even replace them when necessary, which is becoming more commonplace since the recent blight affecting many Eugenia privacy hedges. Whether you want to cultivate small, young plants over time into tall mature ones or prefer full-grown trees and hedges installed for instant privacy, we can make it happen at Tropical Touch Landscapes.
Paths, Walkways and Ornamental Elements
What’s your favorite look? Keystone pavers for a rustic feel? Pine straw or cypress mulch for that back-to-nature style? What about coral or cap rock boulders, stone or gravel? Storm Prep & Cleanup
In South Florida, storms and hurricanes are a real concern, and landscapes even just brushed by the outermost band of a named storm can need serious attention. Call Jim Downing of Tropical Touch Landscapes to prepare for whatever Mother Nature unleashes. Then, when the sun comes out again, call Jim to remove, replant or replace downed trees; clean up debris; replace mulch carried away by heavy downpours; trim damaged bushes; and more.
